Yael Zahavy-Mittelman has been a NW artist and an art teacher for many years. Her art reflects on our collective ideas, feelings, and desires and the need for stories. In her artwork and art process Yael explores folk stories as a base for understanding the world around her, as well as form her personal and social identity.
“Being an artist and a story teller, gives me the opportunity to invite the viewer to play,
to form a story of their own, and mostly to form a connection, to the art, and to others.” explains Zahavy-Mittelman.
Zahavy-Mittelman has been showing her artwork in Israel, NY and the NW.
