Unframed: The Essence of Art and Artist – Join Kathy Lynott for a Solo Art Show at Artspace Everett Lofts during the Third Thursday Artwalk!
This October and November, explore the evocative and thought-provoking works of self-taught artist Kathy Lynott at Artspace Everett Lofts in downtown Everett. In her solo show, “Unframed: The Essence of Art and Artist,” Kathy challenges traditional notions of art and artistic identity, celebrating the creativity within us all. Known for her large mixed media paintings, whimsical art dolls, and wearable art, Kathy invites you to delve into the theme of “What is art, and who gets to be an artist?”
Emphasizing that art doesn’t need to fit neatly into frames—literally or figuratively—Kathy’s work invites viewers to explore creativity without boundaries. In addition to viewing and purchasing unique art pieces, attendees are invited to paint on her interactive art couch, embracing the beauty of experimentation and the joy of creation. Artspace Everett Lofts is open from 5pm to 9pm. Loft gallery is next to the Schack Art Center at 2917 Hoyt Ave.
