Janet has been painting since the age of 12. She graduated from University of Puget Sound School of Fine Art and her portfolio includes freelance graphic art, book illustration, commercial art and theater backdrop painting. She enjoys working with diverse media and subject material.
She also teaches children and adults. “Art is a humanistic endeavor in which form is put forth and flowed into. Often, I feel more comfortable inside my mind than outside it. As a result, I tend to pour myself into my work and submit to a sort of binary fission from it at the end, becoming so much more enriched by each creative experience”.
