Born in 1979 in Everett, WA, Reed is an emerging contemporary cutting edge artist. She studied fine arts at Everett Community College and earned her Associates in Fine Arts degree in 2002. She’s also a proficient graphic and web designer with a minor in graphic arts. Reed’s inspiration comes from off color high fashion photo shoots; mainly the source is W Magazine.
She creates pieces that look nothing like the original spark upon completion, but end up capturing moments of her life in time on canvas. Reed has been published in The International Contemporary Artist’s book v IV in 2012 and has had many public and private shows around the Pacific Northwest including the Silverdale, WA Artwalk, the Amy Burnett Gallery in Bremerton, WA, the Everett Public Library and 3231 Creatives Gallery in Everett, WA.
Reed is a current resident in the Artspace live/ work artist lofts and is continually part of the local monthly artist exhibitions and was the featured artist in the Artspace National Newsletter in 2015.
