Bio by Melinda – “Despite a strict religious upbringing and a troubled childhood, I found solace in nature’s colors while living in California, Arizona, and Washington. After eight years at The Seattle Times, I transitioned to a full-time artist, facing struggles with depression and chronic fatigue.
Committed to healing through art and connecting with others, I discovered my talent for capturing the innate beauty in people through portraits. Recently, I’ve found success in architectural renderings, viewing them as another form of portraiture. My work focuses on “Illuminating Essence,” and I’ve participated in successful art shows and fundraising campaigns, gaining recognition on television”.
