Kevin Hoover was born in Seattle in 1962 and is a lifelong Pacific Northwest resident, now based in Bellingham. He describes himself as a “re-emerging” artist: he studied art and visual communications extensively in high school, working in painting, ceramics, pottery, printmaking, graphics and filmmaking, but then stepped away from making art for many years. He returned seriously to painting around 2020.
